Scholarships for Continuing Students
Camino Federal Credit Union has been serving the Montebello educational community for over 60 years. To demonstrate our commitment to the Montebello Unified School district, each year we offer $500 academic scholarships to graduating students going on to continued education. We provide one scholarship for each of the four MUSD High Schools: Bell Gardens, Montebello, Schurr, and Vail.

We are committed to the Montebello Unified School District. We have initiated an annual scholarship program to help district students fulfill their dreams of attending college. We award a $500 scholarship to an outstanding college-bound student at each MUSD high school. We are proud to announce our first winners:

Lucy is involved in several scholastic organizations, volunteers at local hospitals and still manages to maintain a 4.16 GPA. She plans to attend UC Irvine, UCLA or Cal State LA.
Samantha Gallaway Schurr High School
Samantha is an excellent student and volleyball, softball and soccer player, plus she was active in a campus club that mentored other students. She wants to first attend Mount St. Mary’s College, and then transfer to USC’s Keck School of Medicine.
